What to Carry and What Not To

Being verified — check consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The Consortium has not yet published the CLAT 2027 test-day instructions in the pages we have read. They will specify the documents you must carry, the permitted and prohibited items, the reporting time and the centre procedures. Read them on the day the admit card is released, and follow them over any list on a third-party site, including this one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about the CLAT 2027 admit card.

When will the CLAT 2027 admit card be released?

The Consortium has not announced the release date. Its UG instructions say the admit card can be downloaded by logging into your account, and that the availability date will be announced on the website. The exam is on Sunday, 6 December 2026.

Can I carry a digital copy of the admit card?

Being verified — check consortiumofnlus.ac.in. We have not found a rule on printed versus digital admit cards in the CLAT 2027 notification or UG instructions. Read the instructions on the admit card and any test-day notification, and carry a printout unless the Consortium says otherwise.

What ID proofs are accepted at the exam centre?

Being verified — check consortiumofnlus.ac.in. The list of accepted photo IDs is not stated in the pages we have read. It will be on the admit card or the test-day instructions.

What should I do if there is an error on my admit card?

Contact the Consortium helpdesk as soon as you spot it, using the contact details on consortiumofnlus.ac.in. Do not edit the admit card yourself, and do not wait until exam day.

Can I change my exam centre after the admit card is issued?

Being verified — check consortiumofnlus.ac.in. We have not found a centre-change rule for CLAT 2027. Do not count on a change.

What is the reporting time?

The reporting time will be printed on your admit card. The exam runs from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (PwD candidates until 4:40 pm). Follow the time on the admit card, not a guess from an earlier year.

Keep preparing while you wait.

What is not confirmed yet, as at 20 September 2026: whether a printout or a digital copy is required, which photo IDs are accepted, permitted and prohibited items, reporting time, biometric and frisking procedures, the centre-change rule, and the release date. What will settle it: the Consortium’s CLAT 2027 test-day instructions, published with the admit card. We re-check this page when the test-day instructions are published, usually with the admit card in November.
