There is no CLAT 2027 answer key yet, so there is nothing for this calculator to score against. The paper is sat on 6 December 2026; the Consortium publishes a provisional key afterwards, opens a window for objections, and then a final key.
This page will not show you an estimated score in the meantime. Some sites publish a "predicted" key before the paper is even sat. A wrong key is worse than no key, because a student acts on it — decides whether to raise an objection, whether to plan a second attempt, which universities to hope for.
The moment the key is out it goes into data/answer-keys/clat-2027.json with a link to the Consortium PDF it came from, and this page becomes a working calculator. The marking scheme it will use is already set: +1 for a correct answer, -0.25 for a wrong one, 0 for one left blank.

How is the CLAT score calculated?
One mark for each correct answer and 0.25 deducted for each incorrect one. Questions left unanswered neither gain nor cost anything. With 120 questions, the maximum is 120.
When is the CLAT 2027 answer key released?
After the paper, which is sat on 6 December 2026. The Consortium publishes a provisional key, opens an objection window, and later a final key. No date for either has been notified for this cycle.
Does this calculator work before the answer key is out?
No, and it will not pretend to. Until the Consortium publishes a key there is nothing to score against, so the page says so instead of producing a number from a key someone has guessed at.
Is my data sent anywhere?
No. The calculation runs in your browser. The email field, if you use it, is the only thing that leaves your device, and only if you submit it.
Can this predict my rank?
Not yet. A rank estimate needs score-to-rank data from previous years, and none is on file — see data/score-rank/README.md for what would count as a valid source. Until there is, no rank estimate is offered.
