National Law University Delhi conducts AILET 2027 for admission to the five-year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.M. programmes for 2027–28. This page gives the B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) exam pattern as the university publishes it.

Section A: English Language50 questions, 50 marks
Section B: Current Affairs and General Knowledge30 questions, 30 marks
Section C: Logical Reasoning70 questions, 70 marks
Negative marking0.25 marks are deducted for each wrong answer, so four wrong answers cost one mark

What the university saysThe examination will not require any kind of legal knowledge or technical understanding. Legal principles may appear in reasoning questions.
